THE CRADLE MOUNTAIN

Yaaaay, time for another adventure. This time we both had so many days in a row off so we decided to take another small roadtrip. Cradle Mountain is a must-visit and so famous place in the whole world so when you make it to Tassie one day, definitely worth a visit.
I can't keep this in my own head but YES- we saw a snake :D This was heading straight through between me and Johannes! It is though very rare to see a snake or a poisonous spider here. It is so over spoken, about Australia being full of snakes and spiders that kill you but trust me - locals never heard of anyone getting bitten by spider or a snake. They think it's crazy that we have ticks that carry sicknesses and you might be disabled when you get a bite, so everything is in our heads :) The snake was really calm but we both were kind of threathened by it.

Johannes visited Cradle around 3 years ago and then it was allowed to drive around with your own car and move there anytime. Now they have built a national park where you can move with busses. They take 4 stops and every stops has different rails and roads where you can go and discover. You have to mark all of your paths so when something happens they can come and find you. The all day pass is 16.50 AUD per adult (includes parking ticket). It is  possible to take different hikes variating from 10 minutes to 7 hours. The longest takes you on the top of the Cradle Mountain - we wasn't prepared for this and we didn't had time because last buss comes back to the visitor centre at 5:30 so you must start this hike around 9 or 10 am.
The nature was amazing, besides seeing the Tiger Snake, we also saw WOMBATS! They are soooo cute, like baby bears. I was walking and suddently Joh was like: stop, what is this. IT WAS ALMOST NEXT TO ME and I almost screamed haha :D Luckily it was just a super friendly wombat, trying to find food. But this shows how blind I am :D I think our next trip takes us to Southern part of Tassie, we also want to visit Hobart, thinking of attending some kinds of running events there also. Will keep you updated. I am trying to make insta stories since so many of you asked - feel free to follow me when you like my content :) @MARIELPAHKEL

Meil mõlemal juhtus olema samal ajal 3 päeva järjest vabad ja me mõtlesime taaskord pisikesele seiklusele minna!

Me isegi nägime WOMBATIT! Nad on mega armsad olevused ikka!
Järgmine reisike viib meid ilmselt Hobartisse ja Tasmaania lõunaossa. Saime mõned kindlasti vaja külastada kohad pererahvalt, seega saate end siin kursis hoida :) Instagramis üritan ka üha aktiivsem olla storide läbi, seega kui sulle mu sisu meeldib, tseki - @MARIELPAHKEL
